Does it matter what the brand of aspirin or does it matter if it’s coated or non-coated, chewable also I keep reading online it could cause toxicity.

Hi Dr Jones,my 6 year old cattle dog has just been diagnosed with osteo arthritis in his spine which affecting his ability to walk properly ( he kinda bunny hops on his back legs ).My vet has prescribed GALLIPRANT 100MG and i am to give half a tablet once a day,it helps him slightly,but i am worried about the side effects.I have just read about MORINGA POWDER for arthritis and was wondering would this be safe for my dog.He weighs approx 28kg.I would be extremely grateful for any feedback you could give me please as it breaks my heart to see him struggling with pain.Thank you so much

I have one negative comment though; The medicine dosages are all given in milligrams and milliliters but the pets weight is given in lbs (pounds).
Please could you be consistent and provide the dosages per kilogram weight as well.
(I have no idea what pounds are since we have converted to the metric system in 1963).
Hi. I found robaxin was fast and effective to reduce muscle pain for Trix (husky). Our poodle got aspirin as needed, it was more effective then metacam for his aches and pains. Sadly, we lost both Trix and Tucker in the last month due to extreme old age…. Miss them with every breath.
