I tried it with black tea and canesten cream, but still he is suffering and liquid comes out. Can I do apple vinegar with Methylenblue and DMSO? He has also hot spots, looses his coat in circle big spots, what look dry and sometimes turn red. I dont have money to go to the vet and even don’t trust them. What I can do? I gave him oral aloe vera, with Propolis, bit honey and Curcuma. …..even made that in food (egg, carots and potatos) I try to find out if its a food allergy as well. The breed is pitput, he was born with arthritis

At home remedy: juice at least two cloves of garlic add it to 2 tbsp of olive oil add a few drops of oregano oil Shakewell and let’s sit for a bit. Add at least 1/3 dropper full into the ear canal, squish around get a Q-tip clean out and repeat then add once a day until it’s cleared up. Should only take a few days to clear up but I would go ahead and do it once a day for about 5 days to be certain. Caution: never use oregano oil alone it will burn, bad! You must have a carrier oil. I used olive oil you cannot taste the burn after you put it in olive oil.

Would just white vinegar alone work?

  7. @TheLILOation on October 30, 2024 at 3:05 pm

I did this for my dog last night. She shook her head for about 15 minutes, and I was apprehensive. I’m fearful to try again. She shook her head a couple of times before I left for work this morning. Has anyone else had this experience?

  8. @maggiegutierrez545 on October 30, 2024 at 3:05 pm

You mentioned that the first two treatments were for dogs that are shaking and scratching there ears, what if the dog can’t shake his head because of the pain and possibly bad ear infection, which would be the best to try?

  9. @DouglasB-v6s on October 30, 2024 at 3:06 pm

Unreal, until recently I hadn’t realized that Mario updated his favorite way to tackle ED and it’s a relief! Although what he previously suggested was pretty good, it was a real pain to follow… I just go’ogled the latest by Mario Volpstein, it’s so much simpler and potent now!

Steroid use in dogs leads to many problems like cushing’s disease which my lab got from steroid use and I had to have her put down so and Steroids also reduce the activity of the immune system, which is the body’s natural defense against illness and infection.

Any explanation as to why my dog shakes her head and rub her ears even more after putting ANYTHING into her ears, including clotrimazole. She felt instant relief 2 times I put it in her ear but now it seems to not help or even make it worse ๐Ÿ™

  15. @denforcer on October 30, 2024 at 3:15 pm

I am trying the hydrocortisone and the clotrimazole combo after cleaning it with octibliss cleaner that I already had. Comment for updates. Really hoping this works since my vet is closed on the weekends

Thank you thank you thank YOU!!! My poor dog has been shaking his head and looking miserable, but when I called the vet, the soonest they can get him in to see him is two weeks (no other vets in the area), or I can drive 2 hours to a veterinary emergency hospital that charges $1,000 a visit. I’ve booked the appointment in 2 weeks, but in the meantime, I was able to run to CVS and buy the over-the-counter meds to give the poor boy a bit of relief.

  17. @cathymccall9846 on October 30, 2024 at 3:19 pm

He has red in his ears looks like a sore of some sort. I do not see any discharge just very red. Can I use just green tea on it if I add apple vinegar won’t it burn his ear if its very red and sore? is there a medication in a tablet form for an ear infection? thanks for your videos

If you want to be moulded from your own dog, do this most stupid recommendation๐Ÿ™†๐Ÿคฎ๐Ÿคฎ!!! If we can do anything by your self, then vetenary clinic’s not exist anymore!!! If you have any problems with your dog, please taking to the vet!!! On YT any full can say, that he found better way, but chan’s for that is 5% even less!!! Maybe apple vinegar bath, is good thing, but once in 21 day, or sprey him with bottle every day before woking, in solution you can also put 4-5 drop’s of esencial oil(ruzmarine or ๐Ÿ‹), nothing else!!! I, do that more than 7 years, on may dogs (Am Staff, Pit bullร—2) and they don’t have any problems with skin alergies, and for insekts(tik’s or fieas) l give him Next Guard Spectra!!! 2 time’s in season(5-6month-april/October) also never have problems!! And now Next Guard is like cooke, they love his taste!? Before he was like blue tablet, and you must crush her, and mix in food, but not any more๐Ÿ˜Š!!! Greetings from N.Macedonia๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡ฐ

Can I use these same remedies for "Earmites?"

    Or something different?

I recently got my puppy, he’s 5 months old & when I took him to my vet to get a "Well puppy exam" he had an ear infection along with ear mites really, really bad.

I was given "Animax" (Nystatin-neomycin) prescription to use on his ears 2x/day (every 12hrs) for 10 days & told to

"put a drop on my finger & then wipe it into the buttom of his ear & it’ll work it’s way in & around the rest of the ear by itself."

Well, after 10 days I stopped. I knew the infection was gone, because his ears no longer stunk.
Then his next vaccination appt. arrived (2wks & 4days from the day I stopped the Animax). My vet said he still had ear mites & to keep using the medicine for another week.

So, I did… Then I checked his ears with a q-tip (like I watched the vet do & Omg, his ears are still full of black gunk… These Earmites are relentless!)

So, I’m wondering if perhaps maybe this isn’t the best medication to use for Earmites?

Plus I read that other animals in close proximity can get the ear mites as well,
(I have another dog, 4lb Yorkie that plays with him & sleeps near him).

And, Earmites can get on bedding, etc.?

What do you suggest Dr.? ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ˜Š Thank you so much for your time ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿค—

Hi, doctor, I once heard that we have to dry the ear after using cleaning products.

Should I dry the ears after using the vinegar with the tea remedy? Or I let them stay in?

Thanks so much in advance. God bless you.โค

Love the advice but PLEASEโ€ฆ. Which one am I supposed to use??? My standard poodle boy is 5 years old, chronic yeasty ear infections for past 3 years. Heโ€™s on Costco salmon and sweet potato kibble with turkey wet canned. I stopped all chicken, all beef. Mega (and I mean MEGA) dollars at vets office. My counter has 4 different meds Iโ€™m using right now. Two different pills and two sets of drops. Now Iโ€™m giving injections subQ 1x a month.
I donโ€™t know which one of yours to try? ๐Ÿ˜ข๐Ÿ˜ข๐Ÿ˜ข

Hi Dr Jones, I have been using Suralan ear drops for my dog,I have tried to buy it but it’s prescription only, is there anything out there what is similar? Thanks Steve.

  45. @joshuam122 on October 30, 2024 at 3:51 pm

This didnt work for my boy but i believe in this man 100%. Theres no silver bullet and just cause it didnt work i dont wanna discourage this or any person from helping the masses.

Saying all that, what i found is my boys got allergies. To what ? I have no idea but irregarless the ear seems to be shedding or peeling like his skin gets from the immune system percieving a threat and trying to remove it. I had a bottle of coillital silver laying around and so i gave it a try and it works this ol boy. He doesnt like it when i put it in his ear but i dont think it would matter what it was.

So if you tried this and its not working maybe consider coilidal silver. Store bought is pricey for whatever reason cause its easy abd dairly cheap to make. Youtube can get you there if you decide to go that route. You can put it in there water and food also.

One more thing…. I know theres alot of people that believe you should just bring your dog to the vet and in a perfect world that would be great but the prices the vet charged and the available info online you can do this. Save your money for when something pops up you cant do yourself.

  46. @ryanking4428 on October 30, 2024 at 3:52 pm

  47. @nikrobertson5564 on October 30, 2024 at 3:53 pm

Should i combine the second and third tip? My dogs ears are really bad and discharging a lot of liquid. Or should i just try one of the three?

  48. @renee8813 on October 30, 2024 at 3:55 pm

Dr. Jones if you canโ€™t get the Polysporin here in the states that you use what would you recommend? As youโ€™ve already heard it has a different make up than the one youโ€™re using๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ’›
