Plucking dog hair is a grooming technique commonly employed to prevent ear infections. By removing excess hair from the ear canals, air circulation is improved, moisture is reduced, and debris is less likely to accumulate. This helps to maintain a clean and healthy environment within the ears, minimizing the risk of bacterial or yeast infections. Regularly plucking dog hair from the ears is particularly important for breeds with long or floppy ears, as they are more prone to ear issues. Doodles and curly coated dogs are also known to have hairy ears that should be plucked.

It is super painful plucking hair of any furbabies!!!! It is really unbearable….the redness and discomfort.

There are liquids to clean the inside ears….

I suggest to try it to human ears or your ears…plucking …..and if it is painful to human then it is much more painful to furbabies!!!!

Please don’t do the plucking it is discomforting to furbabies…

My goldendoodle pup got his ear hair plucked and they are super red and they said don’t let shake his head for fear of hematoma. Seems extreme. Hes whimpering and holding one side head on a titled and threw up last night too. We go some hydrocortisone at the dog store. But honestly do they need to get all hair out and cause such trauma. I saw they way you do it and did not seem as extreme. They must be doing my doodle differently. Any recommendation on making him feel better and what should ask the groomer on how they removed the hair? Last month same thing he was vomiting and in pain. HELP! Thanks Yankees mommy,

You definitely should NOT be plucking hair out of dogs’ ears. It is there for a reason! Plucking can cause micro tears in the skin and lead to infection.

Yo no le quitaría ese cabello de las orejas, porque es un protector de siertos animales, como garrapatas y mas
