I got a hamster ball for my Djungarian dwarf hamster, Dustin. It’s the first time for him outside his cage and he seems to like it! But remember to watch over the hamster closely! The ball can pick up too much speed or hit walls and hurt the hamster. He might also not like it or get not enough air. So use the hamster ball only under supervision and with greatest care for your pet!

Guys don’t buy hamster balls and here’s why:
They can break there foot or leg while being in one from the breathing holes.
They don’t know what’s going on and just because they are walking in it doesn’t mean they like it, it’s like being trapped in a ball and you are trying to find a crack to escape through.
They can bump into furniture and get hurt

Essentially the hamster has no choice but to keep moving and I’m sure it must be quite stressful. Just let it roam in a safe room!

Y’all my hamster is fine it’s big enough for her she doesn’t arch she stops when she wants to and it’s only abusive when u leave it in there for too long or don’t give it breaks and if it’s too small, it’s only stressful for some hamster depending on the ball, anything can be abusive if it’s not done right for the animal so stop saying it’s abusive

That’s the smallest hamster ball I’ve seen… looks like it would hurt your hamsters back it’s so tiny.

Hey! Hamster balls are really bad for hamsters!
1. They can easily cause injury.
2. Your hamster cannot see where he/she is going which can also lead to injury.
3. There isn’t enough air for your hamster.

These are really bad for hamsters, lack of oxygen for one, there not using any natural scents and they don’t enjoy it. They have to run… it’s a round object and is almost impossible to stop in. Don’t buy these or hamster balls for your pet hamster.

Hamster balls are too dangerous because:
1) most balls are too small and can cause your hamster to arch its back when running, a large hamster ball is still unsafe
2) hamster balls have poor ventilation
3) the ventilation holes are also big enough for a hamster to get its limbs or toes trapped
4) a hamster ball blocks a hamster main senses ( smell and touch) as the hamster is in an enclosed space.
5) because the ball blocks the hamster’s main senses, it can bang into things easily or fall off a high platform, harming the hamster
6) you hamsters does not have any excess to food and water.
7) your hamster can’t do anything but run. It does not have any enrichment to stimulate their mind
8) poop and pee from your hamster may cause urine burns if not cleaned properly.
9) because a ball is shaped like a circle, it is difficult for your hamster to control. one step may cause the ball to roll over a lot of times
I think getting a playpen is much safer and also it allows you to bond with your hamster. This can be done in a dry bath tub. I think victoria raechel has many hamster care videos so you may check it out. Your hamster looks sooooo cute by the way (like my hamster)

hamster balls are not safe for hamsters they can get there feet stuck and its not proper exersise for them stick with the wheel so they can get exersise actually done! the ball has no air for them to breath into like in the cage

Hi, hamster may look cute and silly in those things but they can harm your hamster when some hamsters may tolerate it but not most, it can course stress, the hamster can fall over in them, there feet can get stuck in the ventilation, so please be very careful with these and know they can couse more harm then good
