Certainly! Here are some supplements for which there is strong evidence supporting their benefits: Omega-3 Fatty Acids (Fish Oil): Evidence suggests that omega-3 fatty acids, particularly EPA and DHA found in fish oil, have numerous health benefits, including reducing the risk of heart disease, lowering triglyceride levels, and potentially reducing inflammation. Vitamin D: Vitamin D plays a crucial role in bone health, immune function, and may also have a role in reducing the risk of certain cancers, such as colorectal cancer, as well as improving muscle strength and reducing the risk of falls in older adults. Calcium: Calcium is essential for bone health and may help prevent osteoporosis and reduce the risk of fractures, especially in postmenopausal women and older adults. Vitamin B12: Vitamin B12 is important for nerve function, red blood cell formation, and DNA synthesis. Deficiency can lead to anemia and neurological problems, particularly in older adults and vegetarians/vegans. Probiotics: Probiotics are beneficial bacteria that promote a healthy gut microbiome. They may help improve digestive health, alleviate symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), and strengthen the immune system. Magnesium: Magnesium is involved in hundreds of biochemical reactions in the body and is essential for nerve and muscle function, blood glucose control, and bone health. Folate/Folic Acid: Folate is important for DNA synthesis and cell division. Adequate intake before and during pregnancy can reduce the risk of neural tube defects in infants. Iron: Iron is essential for transporting oxygen in the blood and supporting energy production. Iron deficiency can lead to anemia, fatigue, and impaired cognitive function. Vitamin C: Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that supports immune function, collagen synthesis, and wound healing. It may also reduce the duration and severity of colds. Zinc: Zinc is important for immune function, wound healing, and DNA synthesis. It may help reduce the duration and severity of colds and support overall immune health. Remember, while these supplements have strong evidence of benefit for certain populations or conditions, it’s important to use them appropriately and consult with a healthcare professional or a registered dietitian to determine if they are right for you, especially if you have any underlying health conditions or are taking medications. Additionally, obtaining nutrients from whole foods whenever possible is generally preferred over supplements – https://www.livegood.com/LIVEGOOD_SAUDIARABIA

Ladies, you can take all these supplements suggested for your skin. Unless you use sunscreen it makes no difference. HRT after the "change" also makes a huge difference.

  9. @meaganaventine on October 30, 2024 at 3:15 pm

Collagen supplements absolutely work. I saw a visible difference in my skin after a month of taking them and my knees stopped aching as well!

Doc, please tell the best brand of collagen u recommend

  37. @arleneportsmouth1263 on October 30, 2024 at 3:47 pm

I can’t believe you are recommending people to be taking Centrum as we all learned 45 years ago that Centrum is a synthetic and not a natural supplement period I used to take that in the 80s and then I went to medical school and then I learned the difference between natural and synthetic vitamins. You can learn anything you want about supplements cookware herbs and vitamins from the book called prescription for nutritional healing by Dr Balch I have been giving copies of that book to everyone for 40 years.
