Thanks doctor helping us help our animals in the end times when there no longer is any help. What if dog licks aspirin is it dangerous?; Another question can a cat have marshmallow root?

Thank you! This really works. My lab mix skin was raw on his right hind quarter. He stopped chewing on himself by the second day of using the tea and aspirin spray. It’s been a week. His skin has healed, and his hair is growing back! Thank you so much for sharing this remedy.

I make a balm that heals hotspots in 24 – 48 hours. its beeswax, honey, calendula, rosemary EO, sage EO, Lavender EO and lemongrass EO. It removes the itch instantly (for mozzie bites and itchy bits in humans too) so they stop licking and the hotspot dries out within 24 hours. I apply the balm about 4 times within 24 hours then leave it – Redness and sore skin goes in 48 hours. I have a chow chow and it has never not worked for us.

I added turmeric to the tea with aspirin and it dried it up right away and I guess relieved the itching because he’s stopped scratching and sleeping soundly. I googled and found where turmeric paste is recommended for hot spots but I had not ran across it in all the videos and comments I’ve watched and read.

Can I please ask a couple of questions?
We have 3 cats for around 4 yrs. They were put out as kittens. We love them very much. But, financially, I can’t afford regular vet visits. We had them fixed. Now we also have additional cat that was put out about a year ago. He has also been fixed.
My questions are one of the older cats beats the youngest up so bad his head stays scabbby/bloody. Any idea how to prevent this? Also, one cat I was checking their flea collars to see if they were getting to tight. He must be allergicall his hair was gone where it lay. How will I prevent fleas for him? Any OTC for the bald area?

What about lick granulomas? I know there is a behavioral aspect to it (boredom) but can we use this?

  14. @wolverinegnr on October 30, 2024 at 3:16 pm

Can this be used for pyoderma? If not what do you recommend? Also is gen one spray good for this and miconahex trim shampoo? Thanks

  15. @jorgebelo6958 on October 30, 2024 at 3:17 pm

Do you have to brew the tea in hot water first or just plain room temperature water will do?

  16. @lorablanke8049 on October 30, 2024 at 3:19 pm

Your the best. I will make sure and mention your channel to as many dog owners I meet. We love our vet and go only as needed. But we really love safe home remedies.

  17. @Mimi61249 on October 30, 2024 at 3:19 pm

  20. @DimplesGenX on October 30, 2024 at 3:22 pm

I have a senior female indoor cat that has inflammed balding skin on her hind back close to her tail. I believed it was caused by a flea allergy, she has flea protection and I have not found any fleas on her but she will not leave it alone and its been over a month. Wondering if there is a solution that works on cats?

  23. @dreamgaits on October 30, 2024 at 3:28 pm

Great tip. My vet gave me a prescription spray for hot spots that did not work. Good old fashioned happy jack spray did the trick.

  25. @linden5576 on October 30, 2024 at 3:29 pm

I’m not sure if my dog has a hotspot! All of a sudden, we just noticed this big black crusted patch on his cheek and the hair was falling off and underneath was left this bumpy sort of like raw skin like if you were to takeoff many many layers of your skin and you were down to like some of the fatty underneath it’s not bleeding out but it’s oozing like a nasty burn almost and you can pull the hair right out in the black crusted stuff comes with it!

The weirdest stuff now we did start him on some new dog food about a week or two ago.

I didn’t know what to put on the sore so I put a little bit of triple anabiotic ointment from Walmart. Walmart brand. And I put some Vaseline over that to help keep it soft, but it looks like it’s spreading. 🤦‍♀️

I’m just at my wits end of what to do. It’s just seems to just constantly be something and we just can’t get to the bottom of anything even if we make his homemade food! So I just don’t know what to do.

  30. @sumithreddy5708 on October 30, 2024 at 3:35 pm

Sir we can use normal tea plss reply

  31. @thingamajig6542 on October 30, 2024 at 3:36 pm

Also need to keep your dog from licking the hotspot or it will take forever to heal if it heals at all. My dog had hotspot on her rear leg that she would not leave alone, so I put some wound cream on and then placed an old crew sock on the leg and held it up with some elastic sprain wrap that athletes use. At night I placed a soft cone around her head since I could not monitor her. In the the morning I took the cone off. I did this for about a week and it healed and she then left it alone. It is important to devise a way to prevent the licking.

  32. @analarson2920 on October 30, 2024 at 3:36 pm

I would not use chlorhexidine as it gets into their organs, try iodine instead. Praying for you and yours

  33. @WolfJinx7 on October 30, 2024 at 3:38 pm

Let me start with I love your videos but I’m a little concerned by the aspirin dose in the tea especially if someone has a small dog that licks a lot. I think using a baby aspirin 81mg I think is the mg would be safer.

  34. @GeneseeBen on October 30, 2024 at 3:38 pm

Have you ever experimented with creatine as a supplement for dogs?

  35. @heatherstewart9300 on October 30, 2024 at 3:39 pm

I’ve found that diaper rash cream (zinc cream) works wonders overnight even, also. 🐾💖😘 (Always clean the area first, like Dr. Jones says)

  36. @blakespurlock5322 on October 30, 2024 at 3:41 pm

Sounds great thank you! But just one question. How does the aspirin act as an anti inflammatory? Aspirin typically isn’t known for anti inflammatory properties.

  37. @leonpse on October 30, 2024 at 3:42 pm

What about the witch hazel/aloe recommendation you mentioned earlier?

  38. @lovepet4565 on October 30, 2024 at 3:43 pm

I tried this today plus a good walk, trip to pet store, run & chase w sister for hour in yard
I put dome gauze around it on paw
    So far leaving alone
    Gave him aspirin w food.
    Have tea aspirin seeping

  39. @nell4617 on October 30, 2024 at 3:43 pm

Is black tea the only tea to use ?

  41. @rayabc123 on October 30, 2024 at 3:47 pm

This works !!! My dog gets them every year and I did this also so it can heal I had to put on the cone :/ so he didn’t itch or lick it. But people this works no more of my German Shepard taking shots for this unless it’s real bad. Wallmart hair trimmer, cleaned it up gentley and applied what he made and within 3 days one hotspot healed another came and I applied then another and I applied all healed gone no shot

  42. @beethelightchannel on October 30, 2024 at 3:47 pm

Hi doc & everyone I just wanna add that I recently tried and used this and it works incredibly well. My German Shepherd had the whole front of her chest in a hotspot and it looked particularly bad. It was particularly blistered and l really not nice looking. This incredible solution not only natural but also cost-effective it worked and I just cannot thank the doctor enough for putting information out there to help people not be you economically affected and able to help take take good care of our family members so so much appreciation and just wanted to say again that you know the whole front of my dogs chest was covered and so I couldn’t bandage it or anything like that and I just kept kept her inside and I kept changing a sheet on her bed every day so that as she rested what she was leaning on was clean and I kept cleaning four times a day as the doctor suggested so yeah I just want to add a bit of extra support and hope for someone who’s think they have to go and pay crazy vet bill you don’t have to It’s been four days and it’s almost gone completely thank you so much.

My dog ended up getting fleas. We are almost done with them thank God, but he has a rash on his face and on his private area looks like a hotspot, but I’m not sure how do I treat his face
