HOW I TREATED MY DOG´S ARTHRITIS FAST (without drugs or painkillers)

This is how I treated my dog´s arthritis. There is no “fixing” this condition, however I saw massive improvement after just a few days. After a couple of months, she was like a totally new dog!

Massages and stretching your dogs legs help a lot😊 hot pads and krill/fish oil or fresh caught salmon as well. Good luck to everyone!

I have an aging male GSD, and he is now having problems with his hips/legs/joints…Vet said it was arthritis, so now I’m in the process of finding out what will work best for him…he has problems with the stairs in the house, and the main bdrm is up stairs, so I’m on the sofa sleeping: (he won’t leave my side, lol), until he’s better….here we go…….

Can you show the name of the cbd? I’ve been dying to find supplements for that and I have no idea which is quality and how much was good for a dog my size? I’ve been doing research now which led me to this video! Thank you for sharing this!!! I’ve used zesty paws and never got a complete answer of if it was quality or not. I dont want my dog right away to just be on medications, I’ve been trying to find quality supplements. Again thank you so much. I know every dog is different but I have not been getting the help. I have wanted to help my dogs overall wellness besides saying if we notice symptoms and that would be in his hips, to go back to the pain medication. Like you, I am not OK with such a simple answer. I’m trying to find a vet that has knowledge of quality supplements and just general things to do to help my dog and things to avoid.

It’s important to note that human glucosamine will not work for dogs. They need a different formulation to be able to absorb it. There’s a really affordable version at Costco, Cosequin, that my vet recommended.

My Golden was starting to show signs of artheritis – i am working in Africa and the only help is rimadyl – however I didnt want to keep giving her painkillers – so i grate fresh turmeric root a tiny pinch of black pepper and coconut oil into her food -and honstly i have a newborn puppy full of get up and go – i also give her omega 3 and off and on a very good probiotic. And being a golden she does have digestive issues just a 3mg of melatonin – all natural and she is on a homemade prepared food lots of veggies and different meat sources

Switching your dog to a raw food carnivore can also make a huge difference, dog foods are very inflammatory! My Malamute is 10 yrs old and when I switched to carnivore for him it improved his arthritis by 85%, I also have done Adequan injections and will do a series at least once a year. I also give him Glycoflex 3 supplements daily. His joint pain is gone, and his fur looks amazing, teeth are healthy and all his plaque has went away on its own….

The U.S. vets are now giving dogs a Librela injection monthly. It’s affordable and highly successful. Also, Adequan injections you do yourself to your dog at home as a SQ injection also works great, especially in conjunction with Librela. Adequan is like a supplement. Check both of these out.

  29. @JS-lx9fi on October 30, 2024 at 3:32 pm

I’m going to look into those supplements. Someone told me to try glycoflex. I’ve tried other joint supplements in the past and he had bad diarrhea each time though. He’s 13 and having a more noticeable problem with his back legs. 😢.

Laser therapy is fantastic for arthritis

  37. @anotherchangedlife on October 30, 2024 at 3:43 pm

My vet put my dog on Librela and within four months she ended up with a severe skin rash that required antibiotics and an allergy shot along with her monthly Librela shot, but the vet insisted the drug did not cause the rash. This cost me almost $150, as I was charged an emergency service along with the meds.

I did some research and found out the skin rash is a common side effect of the medicine, and my vet had never mentioned changing her diet or using supplements to help. Librela is supposed to be a last effort when all else fails.

So I did a lot of research and started making my dogfood fresh, used Native Pet supplements (salmon oil, vitamins and relief treats), collagen powder and massage for arthritis in senior dogs. Within two weeks she was like a new dog. No medicines needed, although I am looking for a chiropractor for her because I thing her hip may be out a bit.

Cost for all supplements and food is less than the $75/month in meds the vet was prescribing. Massage was free, thanks to YouTube vets who care about per health.

I did try zesty pets, but my dog didn’t like them. Not sure why. But the native pet is a fine powder that I mix into her food each morning with the collagen powder, and she loves it!

I might have to look into getting that red light therapy for my puppy. My 11 week old German Shepherd puppy, Vex, was just diagnosed today with hip and knee displaysia. She is in a lot of pain. I know things to help with arthritis, but am looking for things to help more with early-onset genetic dysplasia. For arthritis, I can tell you that the #1 BEST thing you can give them is COLLAGEN. Be it in bone broth form or collagen peptides, it is by far the best thing for them. Glucosamine, chondritin, turmeric, msm, omegas, light therapy, etc are all great for helping to manage the pain and slow the progression, but COLLAGEN will actually REVERSE arthritis.
My mom’s dog, Snickers (Basenji x Whippet mix), was diagnosed with early onset genetic arthritis at 4 years old. She could barely make it up 3 steps or jump on the couch. Within a few weeks she was no longer limping. Within a few years she no longer needed treatment. She is now 12 years old and jumping up on the couch like a pup and taking stairs like a champ. No meds. No treatment. My mom even stopped giving her any supplements (besides glucosamine) or even collagen YEARS AGO and she is still spry and active. Well, as active as a basenji gets! Hahaha.

Veterinary Secrets on utube is a holistic vet, and he gives a lot of recommendations for treating arthritis and every other ailments in our pets.

Title: How I Treated My Dog’s Arthritis Fast (Without Drugs or Painkillers)

Bullet Point 1: Initially tried CBD oil, joint supplements like Flexidine and Flexidin Advanced to treat elderly dog’s arthritis, but they eventually became ineffective.
Elaboration: The video starts by explaining that the person’s 13.5 year old Husky was suffering from severe arthritis about a year ago. As a first step, they tried giving the dog CBD oil formulated specifically for dogs, starting with 1 drop per day and increasing up to 6 drops per day as it provided relief. However, the CBD oil alone was not enough as the condition progressed. The vet then prescribed Flexidine, a generic joint supplement with glucosamine, which helped initially but became less effective over time. Next, the more expensive Flexidin Advanced with omega-3, vitamin E and other ingredients provided temporary relief before that too proved inadequate for the worsening arthritis.

Bullet Point 2: Added supplements like Zesty Paws 8-in-1 Bites, Turmeric Bites, Duralactin, and Omega 3/6/9 supplement.
Elaboration: After exhausting the vet-prescribed supplements, the person did extensive research into additional supplements that could potentially help their aging dog’s arthritis. Based on recommendations, they decided to try Zesty Paws 8-in-1 Bites (containing ingredients for joints, skin, gut, immune system etc.), Zesty Paws Turmeric Bites (with turmeric and coconut oil which many swear by for arthritis), Duralactin made from dried milk protein, and an omega 3/6/9 supplement with vitamin E to replace the expensive Flexidin Advanced.

Bullet Point 3: Began using red light therapy with a clip-on red light device, which provided noticeable improvements.
Elaboration: One treatment that provided significant improvement was red light therapy. Initially skeptical, the person researched the science behind it and found compelling evidence of its benefits. They purchased a clip-on red light therapy device that could be positioned 1-4 feet from wherever the dog was resting, leaving it on for 30 minutes to 2 hours. This form of light therapy made a noticeable positive difference for the arthritic dog.

Bullet Point 4: Used LumaSoothe 2 light therapy device with different light colors/depths to target arthritis and joint issues.
Elaboration: In addition to the clip-on red light, the person used the LumaSoothe 2 light therapy device which emits different colored lights that penetrate to different depths. Following the instructions, they used the deep penetrating lights recommended for conditions like arthritis, back pain, hip dysplasia etc. Unlike the clip-on light, this device requires holding it in position for around 15 minutes while petting the dog.

Bullet Point 5: After using the full regimen of supplements and light therapies, the dog went from barely mobile to acting like a puppy again within a couple months.
Elaboration: By combining all of these treatments – the various supplements like CBD, turmeric, joint support, omegas and the two light therapy devices – the person saw an incredible transformation in their elderly dog’s mobility and energy levels within a couple of months. The dog went from barely being able to move, lay down or go on walks due to severe arthritis pain, to running around the house with a wagging tail, wanting to go on twice daily walks, and exhibiting the energy of a puppy again – all without any drugs or prescription painkillers.

I swear by turmeric I give my dog 2 minutes but I gave him the root kind

  49. @BenjaminHari on October 30, 2024 at 3:55 pm

Same with my dog, he was fine but after he turned 12 he all of a sudden developed hip dysplasia. Glucosamine, Collagen (type 2), Omega 3 and Red Light therapy are the best known and proven things that helps with the bone pain like osteoarthritis and hip dysplasia.
One thing I can also recommend for your dogs is to get chicken feet as they are not only very cheap to get but are PACKED with glucosamine, collagen type 2 and other little things, over here I can get 50 chicken feet for less than 10$, then I dehydrate them with cheap dehydrator from Amazon and give like 3 for my mid to big sized dog everyday.
As for the red light yes it works wonders for many but it’s also very important to study how long to have it on and how close or far you should have the bulb, if miscalculated then the results can be worse or it takes longer to notice the results.

Hope your beautiful husky is still doing well. ❤
